The mistakes people make....
We were recently very entertained by a link we were sent of a blog which lists some of the most stupid and funniest mistakes people have made when applying for a job.
Some of our favourites are as follows:
“2001 summer Voluntary work for taking care of the elderly and vegetable people”
“I am about to enrol on a Business and Finance Degree with the Open University. I feel that this qualification will prove detrimental to me for future success.”
“Skills: Strong Work Ethic, Attention to Detail, Team Player, Self Motivated, Attention to Detail”
“Seeking a party-time position with potential for advancement.”
Seeing what others do so badly is actually quite a fun and effective way of learning what you should do and avoiding the same errors. Always worth doing that extra spell check!
