Our Client is seeking an Internal Technical Sales Engineer to provide Technical and application support and assistance and front line internal sales to their customers and personnel in the automated production industry

Main tasks
Technical
· Process instrumentation / Sensors / Motion
· To liaise with manufacturing site on a regular basis with regard to technical and product support
· To provide technical backup to customers & ASM’s
· To set up test rigs and conduct trials on test samples
· Occasional field support with or without an ASM upon request

Sales
· to produce technial Quotes / Tenders
· Front line telephone response
· Provide pro-active telephone customer support – finding and specifying the most suitable product solution to solve the customer application
· To act as a sales person and close orders where possible
· Compilation and follow up of technical quotations
· Continuously update and create records onto Maximiser
· To operate the sales desk function to include: order processing and progression
· Ordering of product on the relevant manufacturing site
· Internal support to 2 ASM’s

You will have:

· a minimum of 3 years experience in similar role
· HND / HNC or proven experience qualified in Electrical/mechanical engineering
· High admin / organisational skills
· Can produce quotes & tenders
· Articulate communicator – high telephone contact
· Currently in a business to business environment
· Must be self motivated – able to work on own initiative
· Must be able to provide proactive ideas for change and process
· Must have can do attitude
· Team player

Duties include

Warehouse

o Responsible for managing ALL supply chain activity within the department
o Setup layout & space management using principles such as SOP and 5S

Our Client is looking for a Hardware Electronics Support SME for one of their accounts.

This role requires the individual to help resolve technical issues on behalf of the Site Application and Design Centre (ADC) and thus aid the designing of our products for the embedded market such as embedded processors, chipsets, boards, network connectivity (Ethernet) or consumer electronics products and provide technical support to EMEA customers, Intel field and distribution channel on the issue resolution of these products.

Typically this may involve providing updates, documentation or technical resolutions and advising the customer on best choices on components or schematics (including providing design reviews). In addition, the SME may also need to provide training to these customers and put together combinations of hardware and software to validate or resolve customer issues or exhibit the capabilities of embedded technologies to enable them to better demonstrate the products and understand the key points of the "value proposition" of any given platform, e.g. preparing marketing and technology presentations at events.

Customer contact is via web ticketing for launched embedded products and chat for general pre and post sales enquiries via the web.

The successful candidate must be willing to travel for training, if required.
